After 173 days, Shane Kimbrough and Russian cosmonaut, Sergey Ryzhikov and Andrey Borisenko finally came back from International Space Station (ISS) on Monday (10/4/2017). The three astronauts were launched in October last year. This is the second mission for Kimbrough and Borisenko, also it is the first mission for Ryzhikov. During the mission, Kimbrough has walked in space three times to change the battery and to fix ISS. With the crew scheduled to leave tomorrow, marks that there's a new commander in ISS. This morning, Kimbrough handed over the command over from ISS to NASA's astronaut Peggy Whitson, who has been in the space station since November. This isn't Peggy's first trip to the space, she has already made history in 2008. She has been the first ISS woman commander, and now she makes another hisotry again for being the first woman to handle the station for the second time.
