The celebration of National Film Day 2017 will be celebrated by screenings of Indonesia's films through itinerant cinemas in some of the cities in Indonesia on 21-30 March 2017. The cities are Banda Aceh, Ambon, Bandung, Bandar Lampung, Cilacap, Denpasar, Kupang, Medan, Malang, Palangkaraya, and Sukabumi. The types of films that will be played are short films, long-story films, documentary films that have already been curated by the committee. The films which will be played are still in the stage of confirmation. This event is intended to invite all levels of society who still experience difficulty in getting the access to Indonesia's films easily. People can also follow other programs in this event. The top event of National Film Day 2017 will be livened by Film & Art Celebration (FILARTC) at the Housing Complex State Film Production, East Jakarta, 30 March-1 April 2017.
