11 Indonesian Students Fly to Harvard to Follow Simulation UN Assembly

          The Simulation UN held by Harvard University became a prestigious event which is annually attended by 3000 students from across the world. Eleven (11) of them are from Indonesia. They are students from Padjadjaran University (Unpad). They took part in the event known as the Harvard National Model United Nations (HNMUN). This isn't the first time for Unpad because this past 10 years Unpad always sends the best students to become delegates. In the conference, the participants will discuss about global issues facing some countries in various fields. Before being elected, they have done some selection process, including interviews, paper making, Forum Group Discussion (FGD), and mini caucus.They are also required to have the competence of negotiation, critical thinking, and public speaking. At the event held on 16-19 February 2017 in Boston, United States of America, the students will play a role to represent Kyrgysztan at the Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC), Social, Humanitarian, and Cultural (SOCHUM); Special Political and Decolonization (SPECPOL); Legal; and Special Summit on Sustainable Development.
