Approaching summer, various kinds of unique dishes are offered by international culinary activists. As it is done by one of the cake stores in London, England. On 6th June, Naked Dough will open a pop-up store at Old Street Underground Station, Islington. And it turns out that the food product they will sell is in the form of raw cookie dough with various flavours. Even though it sounds weird, the owner of Naked Dough, Jen and Hannah, claimed that the dough is safe for consumption. In fact, there's a couple of famous brands they use in their base ingredients. According to the research, consuming raw cookie dough can not be 100% safe. Especially if the dough is processed with a mixture of raw eggs, and flour that doesn't go through heating process. As it is known, raw eggs contain various bad bacteria, for example Salmonella, which is the cause of food poisoning.
