Ford stated that their vehicles in the future have the abilities of reading the drivers' expressions. Soon, this United States car brand will try to make drivers always happy. In a research by Ford and RWTH Aachen University in Germany, Ford will add a hidden microphone and camera inside the car. These two devices will detect and monitor the drivers' mood, and then activate some of the needed functions. They also can speak, and say suggestions to the drivers. In addition, the attached camera can monitor the drivers' eye movement to activate navigation systems automatically when the drivers' eyes glance at the destination on the map. The system can also answer phone calls when the drivers nod their heads. According to a senior lecturer from the University of York, Dominic Watt, lots of people love their cars. But with this system from Ford, they will get a more "serious" relationship with their cars.
