Researchers from NASA back tests aimed at detecting alien life. The search is done with chemical essay to prove alien life on a planet outside our solar system. This method is ten thousand times more sensitive than the method used in spacecraft, such as NASA's Mars Curiosity Rover. The benefits of this new way of using capillary electrophoresis which is a simple process to automate the liquid sample. The researchers also used the technique to analyze the amino acid by presenting waters rich in salt at Mono Lake, California. The lake contains many alkaline and habitat make it a challenging place to live. In fact, the salty water is believed to exist on Mars. Moreover, the researchers also analyzed 17 different amino acids. These amino acids are selected for the study because they are very common on Earth and other places. By using this method, the difference between amino acids derived from nonliving sources such as meteorites versus existing amino acids of a living organization can be explained.
